Firstly, would thoroughly recommend Peterborough as one of UK's top secret destinations. Picturesque Cathedral and town square, several excellent pubs and restaurants, great rambling countryside, quaint villages and historic sites just out of town, and a swimmable river.
And while here, you could find a lot worse places to stay than the Queens Walk Guest House. If you're expecting the Ritz or someting similar, don't bother, but it ticks all the right boxes in terms of the important thing. Read less

The room was spotless and well stocked with hot drinks. Ten minutes walk tops from center of town. FANTASTIC breakfast inc. real coffee. Good shower. Cable TV with plenty of channels. Friendly host.

I was happy to find a single room for the amount of money I paid.Breakfast was fine, room , shower and toilet clean.
Walking distance to town, restaurants and pubs, quiet location.
Dislikes:
My college wasn't to happy with the ground floor room.

Queens Walk Guest House, is within 10 minute's distance. walking distance of Peterborough City centre. This is a small, quiet, friendly, establishment, comprising 5 letting rooms. These, presently, consist of 4 single/double rooms and a family room. All the rooms are en-suite. There are CTV’S, coffee/tea making facilities and cold drinks bar in each room.
A full English breakfast is available, and bookings are available 7 days a week, most weeks of the year. This establishment operates a no smoking policy throughout the whole house. Although we do not have a car park, there is excellent on-street parking available.We accept children up to the age of 12 years. Those older are considered as adults. We do not accept guests working on nights.
