Myself, my girlfriend and two other friends came to the Vidella to celebrate my girlfriends 21st birthday.
The location was far enough away from the clubs so there was no loud people outside and is also close to Blackpool North train station.
I received a telephone call asking if there was my special touches the hotel could make due to writing a note in the booking that it was my girlfriends 21at birthday. I arranged photos that were hung up around the hotel and balloons in the room. Read less
Likes:
The friendliness of the staff was fantastic and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the pretend rat, fake spider and fake poo that were in the room as it shows a humorous side.
Dislikes:
The food could have been a little warmer and the toilet door in our room needed seeing to as it would not close very well. You also have to wait about 10 minutes on occasions to be served at the bar.

Likes:
Very comfortable bed, room clean and warm.Staff really friendly/helpful.We felt very welcome.Our dog was welcome too, he had sausages for breakfast, and could stay in the room while we had a meal. Ta!
Dislikes:
Some of the furniture was a little tired, but this didn't spoil our stay.

On arrival we were excited about staying at the vidella due to seeing it on the programme "4 in a bed", however the first family room we were put in did not meet the expectations we had due too the reviews we read and also what we saw on the programme. After speaking to Neill.we were shown to another family room which was more appropriate but had a very small toilet with a systern that was difficult to flush. The service was great, the food was lovely and we slept well. Read less

The hosts were comical and pleasant at all times and meeting their two lovely dogs Georgia and Mildred made it even more enjoyable.
Dislikes:
the standard of the downstairs room (28) and the small toilet in the room upstairs.
