We also enjoyed an excellent 3-course evening meal and breakfast the following morning.
On our departure Andrew very kindly gave us a lift into Carlisle.

Underfloor heating, wood fire, TV in each bedroom... everything about Eva's cottage is fantastic.
Dislikes:
The fully-functioning and stocked kitchen is a waste because you're not allowed to cook or eat anything in the cottage. Also, it isn't really a cottage - more of an extension to the main house,

Our room was spacious,spotless and very comfortable. Good choice of cereals/fruits at breakfast and the cooked element was delicious. Would definitely stay here again. Read less
