We selected the Salutation Inn to act as a base to allow us to explore the north of Pembrokeshire. We arrived early on the Thursday but the owner had made sure that our room was ready earlier than normal. That sums up the approach of the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Read less

I personally liked the atmosphere in the bar; the locals made me feel welcome immediately. Janat loved the food in the lounge and we both liked the room we were given.
Dislikes:
Not really. Would have liked to have tried Denlys' out but Jan wanted to stay in the lounge!!

We especially liked: room decoration, powerful shower, location, friendly hosts, owner and staff very accommodating to specific requests
Dislikes:
If we could have changed one thing it would have been the breakfast. Freshly cooked breakfast was great, but some fresh fruit and nicer tea would have been very welcome.

Landlord John gave good personal local tourist information using especially commissioned local maps and photos, beautifully displayed in Denleys restaurant. Nice location. Historic Inn but with a modern dining room. Television was excellent! The food was also excellent and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming.
Dislikes:
We could only stay 2 nights!

Position and quietness even though there were evening diners the noise did not travel.
Dislikes:
Poor radio signal and TV volume control not very adjustable. using the TV in sleep mode often resulted in TV switching on at full volume that must have disturbed other guests
