Our stay was extremely comfortable and private. We chose Rame Barton having read some good reviews online because it was close to a wedding we were attending. Our room was spacious and in great condition, with lovely furnishings and bedding, and was full of thoughtful touches such as tea and biscuits and a good selection of DVDs. The ensuite bathroom was also large. A lovely touch was returning home late from the wedding to find our bed made up and our bedside lamps left on. Read less

The owners, Karen & Paul went out of their way to help us in terms of lifts around the area without being intrusive and any way.
Dislikes:
The only negative aspect was the very weak pressure from the shower, which was to be expected as it was powered by an electric pump, but this really was a minor issue.

Our hosts Karen and Paul were lovely people, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The suites were well equipped and beautifully decorated with great artwork.

The views are gorgeous; out the back up a hill you see an old church and out the front the farm next door has gorgeous horses. Fantastic value for the price! Read less

Washer and dryer facilities and iron available for use for free which was a blessing! We felt very welcome in their home; Paul was even willing to show us his art studio and wares!

The location was perfect, we were attending a wedding at Polhawn Fort just a mile away, not walking distance in a suit or posh frock and heels, but a short taxi ride. Away from the anxious guests
