That said, the room was cosy and warm. Best of all was the restaurant food; simply very high quality at very reasonable prices. Unlikely to return for a night but may visit restaurant again. Dislikes:
Rooms were not quiet. Thankfully for us, the hotel was not busy on the Sunday night so no disturbances.

Breakfast menu has an excellent choice + fresh fruit including pineapple. Bedroom is well equipped with plenty of pillows, hairdryer & teamaking equipment. The bottle of water is a thoughtful touch.
Dislikes:
I found the bedclothes inadequate and felt chilly through the night, despite using the extra blanket.

Dislikes:
Breakfast was said to be served from 7.30 - 9.30 am. But on the day of my departure the hotel was in deep rest at 7.30 am. I had to leave at 8.00 am without breakfast.

Breakfast with fresh fruit, good range of teas, good quality ingredients. Helpful proprietor.
Dislikes:
Dead flies on the window sill. Carpet needed shampooing. One light not working. Had to request heating on at 9pm.
