Holme House is situated just outside the picturesque village of Piercebridge, famous for its Roman remains. The village has two pubs and an organic farm shop. The River Tees runs through the farm and a walk along its banks offers the chance of seeing a large variety of birds and maybe even an otter! Darlington is 6 miles east and the lovely market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle are also nearby.

Exit A1 at junction 56 and take B6275 to Piercebridge. On the approach to the village, turn right at the 'Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast' sign (opposite angular warning sign on left) and drive up farm road, over 2 cattle grids. Turn right through the white gate, down gravel drive to cream-coloured house.Darlington

Take A67 out of Darlington (signed Barnard Castle). Turn left on B6275 into Piercebridge. On leaving the village, after sharp right hand corner, turn left by our 'Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast' sign.
