Two of us and our little spaniel stayed in the two story self catering unit for two nights. It was very clean and spacious and had a welcoming wood fire when we arrived, and a beckoning four poster bed. There were lovely views over the fields, and great places to walk. The very solicitous owners made us feel most comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and eggs from their own chickens. In our opinion, this is one of the top B and B's in the UK, and a great value. Read less

It was very quiet, comfortable and relaxing, in a very convenient area. Perfect accommodation for people of all ages as well as families.

The bed gave us one of the best night sleep ever, such a beautiful location.
The wonderful breakfast really set one up for the day.
Excellent advice given on location restaurants etc.

The quiet location that is still within easy reach of major routes
Dislikes:
Slight problem with getting lost in the small lanes but that was our problem not the hotels!

Only satyed for one night and didn't arrive until 8.00pm but were met by a very welcoming Nick who showed us to our room which was lovely. Very clean, lovely facilities. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Fridge with fresh milk. We didn't use any of them but had we arrived sooner I'm sure we would have. Given directions to a very nice place to eat only a few minutes away. Very peaceful, fantastic shower and lovely breakfast. Couldn't fault it at all, perfect for our visit to Oulton Park. Read less
