Travelling to the area to attend the local conference centre, all I was looking for was a reasonably priced B&B that had twin beds, decent breakfast and residents bar. Not always an easy thing to find and certainly not usually something that can be described as anything other than just alright. However, what a find in Mount Edgecombe. I'm certainly glad I added a few extra days to my visit. Staying here made it a holiday and my first stop if I come back to this town. Read less

Decor and furnishings to a higher quality than one would expect. A bathroom that wouldn't be out of place in a high quality hotel and a decent shower that you didn't have to move about in to get wet.

The breakfast was excellent, probably the best we've had at such an establishment. Don't forget to order a smoothie - they blew us away!

After being shown our beautiful room we were treated to coffee and cake in the lounge. We have stayed in many hotels around the country and this ranks among the best and friendliest we have stayed in. Read less

Room quality was excellent as was the breakfast choice and food. The location is perfect for visiting Torquay, if we are in the area again we will definately stay at this hotel.
