We stayed three nights at Chimney's Bed and Breakfast and we loved the house and the rooms at first glance. It's such a beautiful old house and the owners are so friendly. There's also a big folder in each room with lots of information about sightseeing. We should have stayed longer to see more of it (e.g. Powderham Castle)We took the ferry to Exmouth (beautiful town with a long beach) and visited Exeter. Read less

The rather draconian "rules". This is the 21st century!!
Response from Chimneys Bed & Breakfast:
The only rules we have are No pets, No smoking & we ask guest to be back by 12 midnight. We do like guest to go out for the day but don't bother them if they choose to stay in. If you want something with more facilities then check before you book. This is our home that we run as a bed & breakfast. Its not a Hotel.
