We were made very welcome, treated with courtesy and kindness. They even asked if we would like to change our room for one on the ground floor, when they realised that my sister was going to have trouble climbing the stairs, regardless of any inconvenience to themselves. Breakfast was excellent, large choice of food and nicely cooked. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked to return in September when we will be back for a family party. Read less

Cleanliness of the room, crisp white linen, nice fluffy towels. Warm and friendly atmosphere, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble.

Dislikes:
Shower in room was lousy and took some time to work out.The head pressure is too low and the mix fluctuated. More than likely caused by lack of use.Finish of tiling was not good which let the room dow

This small hotel was perfect for going to a wedding at the nearby St Audries. Just a small taxi fare each way. We were given room 8, which was decorated nicely we liked the one feature wallpapered wall, but the others were more subtle which went with the age of the property. It overlooked the large well kept garden. The room had another smaller room attached with 2 beds so would be perfect for a small family. Read less

My group consisted of three adults all competing in the annual Wimbleball half-ironman triathlon. We all stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday. I stayed in the main hotel building and was very pleased with the size and cleanliness of my double-bed room. Overall our stay was certainly pleasant and I would not hesitate to book with the White House again.

The proprietors were absolutely fantastic and really made our stay first class. They were genuinely welcoming and didn’t hesitate to go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Great breakfast!

The beautifully cooked full English breakfast was a real treat as were the fresh fruit and delicious croissants.
