We bioth thought the restaurant was very dissappointing, food defiitely had the over fried taste!

Thanks for yopur feedback. I am sorry you were disappointed by the food in our restaurant and would like to know what you ate. WE have to deep fry certain foods like scampi or cod because that is how it is cooked, or the sea bass is 'pan fried' at the moment, but the majority of our food is not fried, however I am sorry if this was your experience, and I will investigate. And I will get the shower looked at, many thanks for letting us know

The room was well equiped, clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious, local produce. Great service. Ample car parking, easy to find location well placed for visiting local attraction

Staff were very helpful and obliging and the breakfast was extremely tasty.
Dislikes:
The toilet in our room was stained, giving the impression the bathroom may not have been deep cleaned recently. The rooms may soon need refreshing as the light shade and canvas paintings seemed dated.

I do however think the room was a little cramped and I am glad I did not need to get ready for the wedding in it. The accomodation is okay but a little overpriced for what it is. Read less

Dislikes:
At sixty-nine pounds a night excluding breakfast, it is overpriced for simple pub accomodation.

Thanks for your feedback. The furniture in our rooms is chunky and traditional which may seem oversized to some people so I am sorry for this. We are not just a B&B, we have a 4* Visit England rating and provide free wifi, Egyptian cotton bedding, quality toileteries, free parking, freeview TV, on site massage treatments, a well stocked bar and a restaurant with an extensive menu. A pub B&B does not have these kinds of facilities which is reflected in the price - but thanks for your comments

The price of the drinks where good and the service
I would like to know the name of the rose wine we had ( the seconed bottle ) if you could please let me know.

Hello and thanks for your feedback. We have 4 rose wines, a Spanish Rioja El Coto 2009, secondly an organic wine, Terra Sana - Francois Lurton from France, next from South Australia, Grant Burge Rose and finally from California, White Zinfandel.
Regards the cleaning, we had two new cleaners on that weekend and I am sorry they did not do such a good job. But thanks for letting us know and we will improve.
