The character of the building, blending ancient architecture with simple, stylish modern comfort in a very well equipped room; good food in a spacious bar/restaurant
Dislikes:
Had to leave without breakfast on my first morning as 8.30 was too late for my conference

Dislikes:
Very noisy, could hear next doors conversations, tv and sexual activities! Very uncomfortable pillows, woke up with neck. Took our lunch order and forgot about us, making us late.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience whilst staying with us, I will investigate the pillows and replace as necessary. Your room has an interconnecting door to the twin next door which is great for families but not ideal in this case. Your food order was not forgotten though, your coranation chicken was cooked fresh to order hence the delay, sorry that you were not told this was the case. We have recently won an AA Dinner Award and are very proud of the quality of our food and restaurant!

Banged my head on door frame of Room 7!

Thanks for your review! Room 7 does have a very low door frame being part of the original 15th century building, but sorry about that, but am pleased you still had a great time!

We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and found everything to be very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast.

Staff friendly. Bathroom very nice. Games to choose from in the pub.
Dislikes:
Room was not very clean. Removed cobwebs from ceiling, repaired the bed, where slats had fallen out,carpet needed hoovering. A little tired looking. Looked much better on website. Didnt reflect 4 star

Ease of stay - no fuss, good parking, delicious food.
Dislikes:
Broken hairdryer and no phone in the room to just request another one - but I informed the staff when I checked out.
