The staff were friendly, the room had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean.
Dislikes:
It was Saturday night, so there was a lot of noise coming from the pub (a quiz was being held, which I guess didn't help).

We do hold a monthly quiz evening that uses a microphone over the pa and we apologise that this was a disruption to your stay. That Saturdays popularity meant it ran slightly longer than usual. Cosy comfortable room, great breakfast, and good service.
Dislikes:
You get a little noise from the bar until just after 11 but that's to be expected if you're above a pub!

Stayed for just one night as attending a party at local venue. We arrived back in our room at 11:30 pm and it was still noisey in the bar below, but that's what we expected staying in a pub. Staff were very welcoming, and the room was comfortable, only problem was double bed was against the wall which meant that I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed! The shower in the ensuite was great, with plenty of hot water. Food was excellent, and bar and beer garden looked great. Read less
