We particularly liked the large, airy bedroom, the decor and the walk-in shower - as well as the full breakfast. The spotless cleanliness of the whole place impressed us.

Peaceful location and cleanly decorated and uncluttered.
Dislikes:
Tried to fob us off with a smaller bed, but rearranged to suit our booking.
Response from Trimnells House:
We are glad this valued guest enjoyed their stay. No attempt was made to "fob off" this guest. We had 3 ladies staying who were running in the Bath Half marathon who required a triple. This meant moving this booking to another superior room with a King size bed (all superior rooms are about 20 sq metres). Upon arrival they requested the room they had booked and were, as the guest confirms, given what they wanted, as are all guests if we can do so.

The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely.
Dislikes:
There was a bit of a mix up with our breakfast order, but this was quickly rectified once pointed out.

The hotel is in a very nice location - village pubs etc all within easy walking distance. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Sue went out of her way to make me welcome.

Everything was as it said on line and possibly even better. Having recently spent 6 days in a 4* hotel in Devon, it was refreshing to experience such luxury at less per night! Well done Trimnells!
