Stayed for four nights at the welcoming Treriefe Park to enjoy a painting course at the nearby Newlyn Art School. The house, at the end of a sweeping track, has a lovely garden and views over the fields. My room was I'm told the smallest, but I loved it. High ceilings, tall windows, tasteful decor and a smart bathroom was all the comfort I needed. Read less

The cooked to perfection breakfast each morning with a choice of menu. The very friendly hosts. The formal garden with the hidden walled orchard to wander in.

Period house set in the formal gardens. Friendly hosts, very good breakfast (fresh fruits, home made jams).
Dislikes:
It felt a bit hectic at times, especially because we were served every day by a different person and there seemed to be little communication going on between them.

We loved breakfasts - a real feast - including Cornish yogurt, home made jams and marmalades – special mention to the medlar’s jelly !

Could not fault the room or the location. Probably wonderful for leisurly breaks rather than than time restricted business trips. I am not allowed to say how much it cost, but it was excellent value
Dislikes:
Breakfast not a strong point.
