"Nice B&B with friendly and helpful couple"
I stayed for 3 nights to have access to both Snowdonia and Anglesey. The house is located in Tregarth, 3 miles away from Bangor at a hilly village. Excellent view towards Angelsey. Beds comfortable, lodge with tv/dvd set, Wifi. Bathroom not en-suite, but therefore large (this is the better choice I would say, comparing to what is called an en-suite bathroom sometimes). Nice time there. Read less

Live cooked delicious breakfasts, good conversations with the hosts, a lovely couple. Very helpful about finding the right places to eat, hike or visit and even more. Bedrooms and lodge perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed getting away not knowing what to expect of Wales, or the weather... it was fabulous! I would love to come back and visit the area for a longer period of time.

"Best B&B I've stayed in so far"
I've booked Tregarth Homestay B & B as a snap decision without reading any online reviews about it, and it turned out to be the best B&B I've stayed in so far! Cathleen and Peter (owners of the B&B) were very friendly and helpful, I particularly enjoyed the talks over the breakfast and hot bubble bath after a long day spent on Snowdon Mountain. Beds were comfy, very clean, nice view over the hills which extend to the sea, very quite, suitable for people of all age ranges, delicious breakfast. Read less

The B&B is of within easy reach to Bangor by bus, where you can then hop on to a bus which takes you to all the local attractions, Conwhy Castle, Snowdon Mountain, slate museum, electric mountains...
Dislikes:
No. I will certainly go back again.

Far from ideal position up single lane very steep & winding road, limited parking at property. Very steep narrow stairs down to bedrooms on lower floor somewhat awkward. Cooked breakfast below par.

We are very disappointed with this review which we feel is unjustified. The previous review from a guest staying at the same time gives a totally different perspective. We have an extensive breakfast menu and cater for special requests. In a Snowdonia village steep narrow lanes are normal and we are only 150m from the main road and there is off road parking available. If the weather is wet there are plenty of attractions in the area. It is unfortunate that Mrs Fairless said nothing at the time.

It was clean,cosy and comfortable. There were lovely views from the house and gardens.There was plenty of up to date tourist information available.The cooked breakfast was ample and expertly cooked.
Dislikes:
There was nothing I did not like about the hotel.It had a wonderful accurately temperature-controlled power shower. A real bonus.
