The elevated setting affords beautiful views of the mountains, the Menai Straight, Anglesey and Puffin Island. It is ideally situated, being in a quiet rural location on the edge of a small village, yet just two miles from the A55 Expressway and the A5. There is something for everyone within easy reach!

How to Find Us

A55 - Junction 11
(approx 2 miles)

At junction 11 of the A55 (with the A5), take the Betwys y Coed exit then immediately turn right onto the A4244 signed Llanberis. The Little Chef is on your right. Take the next left (½ mile) B4409 signed Tregarth. Drive up the hill into Tregarth Village (1 mile). Beware of the bends. As you enter the village, there is a large chapel on your right named Shiloh. Our road (DOB) is the 3rd turning on the right after this chapel, before the pub. Drive up DOB to the top and Llain y Grug on the right
Bangor Station

Bangor is an Intercity station, with direct train services to/from London Euston, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Holyhead, with connections to the rest of Britain. Only 20 minutes away by car, we will be happy to make free station pickups if arranged in advance.

Bangor- National Express Bus Station has services daily to/from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds. Leaving from the same stand (F), local buses from Bangor Bus Station (Garth Road) services 6, 7, 67 or 77 to Tregarth Pub; run at least every half hour during the day, taking around 15 minutes.
Ferry - Holyhead
(approx 20 miles)

Holyhead with its’ fast ferries to Dublin, is only around 40 minutes by car. Enjoy that first experience of Ireland with a cheap day trip! Take the A55 from Holyhead to Junction 11 and follow the instructions above.
