The meal in the Restuarant was the best we have had for a long time.
Superly cooked and served by friendly efficient staff. Everything was first class.
Dislikes:
There was nothing we did not like about our stay.

We booked Tinhay Mill just a couple of nights before our stay, based largely on the reviews we read and it did not disappoint. Margaret and Paul made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to enhance our stay in any way they could, the room was wonderful, and the food was out of this world. We will certainly be back and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Read less

Known for the quality of the food, Margaret is a genius in her kitchen- dinner and breakfast were divine. But her staff were so professional and friendly and the log stove perfect to relax by later.

Margaret and Paul are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure their guests have everything they need or require to enjoy a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. The old building has been tastefully modernised but still retains character and charm, antiques and curios abound and a warm welcome is supplied by all the staff who are friendly, efficient and do all they can to ensure the guests comfort. Margaret's cooking is excellent. The menu is the same each day but extra specials spoil you for choice. Both Paul and Margaret are consummate hosts, nothing is too much trouble, so warm and friendly
Dislikes:
The stairs up to our room (4) but I'm sure we could have another room another time.

We had a large, clean, fully equipped room with a balcony out over the garden. Lovely and peaceful room. There was an extensive choice for breakfast which was cooked perfectly.
