Very disappointing. This hotel looks a decent place with well priced rooms but it's getting very tatty around the edges and seems to cater mainly for builders and travelling contractors. It took 30 minutes for braekfast to arrive, every part of the breakfast order was incorrect, how could they get eggs, bacon, toast and tea so wrong. Give this place a miss until such time as the owners get decent staff. Read less

Good location. Superior grade room was clean and modern, no complaints.
Dislikes:
Reception staff spoke poor English. Insufficient towels in bathroom. Dangerous reversing out of rear car park onto main road. Service at breakfast was slow, 30 min for poor quality food.

2nd moprning Cook slept in even though he lived on the premises - another late breakfast
3rd morning a reasonable service although at checkout there was a disagreement about the cost of breakfast as the confirmation stipulated 'Inc of breakfast' although this was not true. Read less

Dislikes:
Booking conirmed inclusive of breakfast. - not true. According to the staff price only included Continental breakfast and not full. Staff refused to accept what was in the reservation documentation

I booked a superior double room, and when I arrived the room was nothing at all like the photos I had seen on the Internet ,the room was cramped, with dated furniture, bedding and fixtures, bathroom was dark and uninviting, and the cleanliness was not up to standard. Located too close to London high speed train service which finished at midnight Saturday but continued through the night on Sunday to Monday.

Close to wedding venue.
Dislikes:
Parking was very restricted, there were also loads of screws and nails all over the gravel parking. I collected 40 or 50 and flagged with staff who werent concerned. Also very close to rail track.

We had a family room with the childrens bunk bed within a screened off area. The room was an excellent size & easily accommodated a family.
Dislikes:
The shower was a little disappointing with a rather slow flow. A power shower would have been more in keeping given the quality of the other fittings.
