The little extras such as two comfrtable chairs in the bedroom, dressing gowns and the very generous supply of coffee/tea in the room. The towels and linen were very good quality.

"A delightful retreat and would happily stay there again"
I stayed here for two nights in May 2013 for a break from work, before moving on (as planned) to stay elsewhere for another three nights. I wish I had been able to stay here a couple more days.… Read more

It's a delightful location, peaceful and verdent. The staff are very friendly, as are everyone in Devon, and the food excellent. The room was a typical old pub room, i.e. nothing was quite horizontal.
Dislikes:
There was nothing I disliked as such, but if I'm being picky the tv could have been bigger.
