Stayed one night to visit my daughter who lives in Brighton. Wanted good value-for-money accommodation with the freedom to come and go, which the Neo provides. The room was comfortable, bathroom very spacious, and essentials were provided (eg tea/coffee, TV, hairdryer). The decor was stylish and bold. Read less

Friendly, helpful staff, really comfy bed, excellent breakfast, laid-back atmosphere. The location was pretty well perfect for our requirements too. Also, we were upgraded, which was a lovely surprise
Dislikes:
Due to location in town, had inevitable traffic noise at times (eg delivery truck in the small hours)- traditional sash windows don't provide good sound insulation. Earplugs probably a good idea!!

We stayed at The Neo for 3 nights for a short break. The location is just off the main road for the main strip of the beach and a short walk from restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and nothing was a problem. The breakfast was extremely tasty with lots of variety, not your typical continental breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends. Read less

The friendly staff & not being in a chain hotel.
Dislikes:
Accommodation had declined since my last stay in room 3 - blocked sink and tiles coming off the wall in the shower. Not entirely clean - check out the dust around the TV. No early breakfast possible.

Excellent location, 5 mins from beach and shops. Very comfortable bed, and lovely large bathroom.
Dislikes:
We had scaffolding outside our room. The workers had gone but was a bit anxious incase they returned.

I stayed with my boyfriend for two nights midweek for a romantic getaway and we were in Room 8. The staff were lovely on arrival and we were shown to our room, which was smaller than expected but was very clean, cosy, had lovely facilities and had the comfiest bed i had slept in. There was building work going on, but only minor noise. Read less

The staff were lovely, breakfast was gorgeous, room was clean and comfy with a nice little tv which you could play dvd's on from their dvd library at reception. The location was central :)
Dislikes:
Room was smaller then expected and they forgot our champagne and strawberries on our arrival (but they compensated by giving us a later checkout time :) buliding work going on but overall excellent :)

Location of the hotel. Staff, rooms and food at the hotel were fab
Dislikes:
Lots of stairs, but that was our choice to stay on the top floor, next time we would opt for one of the 1st floor rooms.

My room was small and sweet with the perfect blend of sexy and comfortableness, and the breakfast! WOW never have I eaten so much when I've woken up....and wanted too. The fantastic customer service, attentive without being too much, the quirky decor and the sweet little touches such as sweets in the recpetions, chocolates in our room etc.and the breakfast was wow!
Dislikes:
My girlfriend was a bit upset our private toilet wasn't in our room but next door.

Very friendly welcome, great room, fab bathroom with good quality toiletries, complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee etc. Very comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, would definitely stay again. I took my dog with me, and was delighted with the reception she got, she was able to go everywhere apart from the main dining room. It was a very relaxing stay, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a hotel by the sea. Read less

Dislikes:
It's tired, and they're not bothered... eg the rain showerhead is loose, the drain cover missing, and the shower draining so slowly it almost overflowed.
