Arriving in the late afternoon we took a leisurely stroll out to the nearby canal then back for a drink and chat to the locals then out to dinner as it was a Sunday. The room was extremely comfortable and we were well rested for the great breakfast the next morning. A day trip out to Bath and finished up with a truly fabulous dinner, the best in our monthlong trip around

Everything, the staff could not have been more frendly or helpful. The wonderful blend of the old with the new, and the excellent meals.We would recommend the George and Dragon unreservably.

Dislikes:
Think the fact that you had to pay extra for English Breakfast should be mentioned on the website also stairs up to the room are a bit awkward .
