Likes:
Exceptional service from the owners and staff ( couldn't do enough to help), food was excellent. Lovely olde world room with a roll top bath. Very comfortable bed. Couldn't fault it!
Dislikes:
I'm being picky but sky sports would have been nice. But to be fair, as a landlord I know just how expensive that is, and may not suit the venue

Lovely warm welcome from "Chippy" the chef and some great cooking.Appreciated the courtesy kettle and goodies on the landing.
Dislikes:
Would have liked a central light in the room to supplement the lamps.

Settled in at the George and Dragon, and then a walk along the canal towpath. Muddy to get there - not shod for it! Our fault! Leisurely excellent fish dinner at the George and Dragon.
Sunday breakfast - excellent. Then trip to Malmesbury to see the first king of England's tomb! Read less

High quality fittings.
Extra touches - quality bathroom products, complimentary soft drinks and snacks - differentiate the George and Dragon from the competition
Dislikes:
Nothing. Would recommend it heartily. Excellent quality and great value.

We stayed one night so that we could attend a friends wedding. Staff were very accomodating and friendly (allowing us to check in early so that we could get changed) and the rooms and breakfast were really lovely. However, the room was quite hot at night, and when we opened the window the road outside was really loud - something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. This should only be an issue in room 3, as it is at the front of the guesthouse alongside the main road. Read less

There were free snacks/tea/coffee/dvd's to watch available to all the guests. The rooms are very modern and clean, and well decorated. The breakfast was very high quality, and staff were lovely.
Dislikes:
Just the loud road - my boyfriend slept well so it wouldnt bother everybody!

Lovely rustic old building, good food, lovely furnishings.
Dislikes:
Nothing at all, but would mention that the roll top bath is small so anyone over 6ft would struggle to fit in! Sitting up only advised! But this wouldnt affect an otherwise very enjoyable stay.
