Were given a very warm welcome. The Inn is very homely with real fire. Rooms were comforatble and breakfast good, especially given the gentleman had to get up on New years day to cater for us!

Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for the village. Breakfast great- plenty of juice and coffee. I had the vegetarian breakfast without pre ordering this- very impressed.

My twin room was clean and comfortable and I slept well both nights. The ensuite shower room and toilet is small but perfectly adequate.
Dislikes:
Parking is very limited on site as you would expect for a building of this age but I had no trouble finding a space in the street opposite.

Very friendly helpful staff,excellent food,comfortable room in quiet surroundings. Very reasonably priced.
Dislikes:
The pillows were hard and uncomfortable.
No socket for one bedside lamp.
Prefer "real" soap.

The staff were very friendly. Food is good. The room is basic but fine for a short stay. At the price paid it was excellent value for money.
Dislikes:
The ensuite was a little cramped. There was an electric heater in the room which made up for the lack of central heating.

Flexibility of access relaxed atmosphere.
Dislikes:
The mattress was uncomfortable in that the springs were near the surface and could be seen through the sheet. Perhaps a mattress topper or some other form of padding could be added for comfort.
