Had a lovely evening. Village is lovely. We had a lovely meal with friends and finished off in the pub attached to acvommodation. Staff who we saw were friendly and polite.

The evening meal was freshly prepared, orders had to be placed at the bar, breakfast was lovely, staff were very efficient and friendly. in the evening the adjoining bar had a good busy local atmosphere. The room was very clean and adequate, if a bit small. However, the noise from a disco in the function room was unbearable especially going on until 12.30am. I feel I should have been warned about this when I booked; it was certainly not the experience I expected. I anticipated noise from the market square as this was made clear on the website, but not loud thumping bass from a late disco. Staff were friendly, however, and the evening meal was good although the wine was of poor quality. Read less

The location was excellent and there was parking. The cooked breakfast was very good.
Dislikes:
The noise from the function room. Also at breakfast, people kept having to ask for more butter which smacked of meanness. I don't feel the price paid reflected the type of venue The Feathers is.
