A lovely mix of old style cottage with brand new bathrooms.
Great views over the countryside
Good location for exploring cornwall
Dislikes:
It was a bit pricey for what we got
The kitchen and had an unused feel to it - most things were cleanish but a there was a stale smell
The air was a bit damp in the cottage - nothing ever dried

We stayed at St.George's for two night, and are planning on returning. We enjoy surfing, walking and eating well. The children loved the garden where they could play with the dog and the chickens, but they also enjoyed sitting inside in the evenings, playing on the piano games which are provided. We slept well, and enjoyed both the breakfast and the dinner. The food was fresh and very well prepared. The location of the house, is excellent as it is not far from town (walking distance), but quiet. Read less

We liked that this house provided big areas outside of our rooms which could be used by all guest. The large yard and Mollie the dog were also a bonus. The location is great as are Sue and Sharon.
Dislikes:
There is nothing we did not like about our stay.

We arrived and were meet by the lovelly Molly, dashed to our room, which had an amazing four poster bed! Then had to be out again. The bathroom was very stylish and the furniture in the room, really lovelly. A huge lounge, great little bar and bistro. Breakfast the next day was whatever you wanted with beautiful fresh fuit and yoghurts and cereals. It's how I'd have a hotel, if I were to run one. Read less

Loved the informality, which did not compromise on service. You felt like you were staying at your favourite aunts, you know the one that let you do things your Mum never did.

The owners always make sure that your requets are met. My son is a fussy eater but asked if he could have a sandwich for breakfast, not only was this supplied but with a nice smile as well.
Dislikes:
Yes, we did not spend enough time enjoying the environment.

My wife didn't enjoy the breakfast. Very dangerous driving off the car park as couldn't see speeding traffic coming towards you.

We are really sorry that you found us disappointing. It is good to know, however, that Mollie and the chickens were a hit. The chickens will be upset though when we tell them that their eggs were not appreciated at breakfast, and they may prove to be churlish if we ask them and Mollie to take over the running of the house. We do hope that you will not be put off returning to Cornwall as we know that there are many establishments that would suit you very well.

Dislikes:
As we were on foot we found it was a distance to all ameneties in town.

Sharon and Sue (and Mollie the dog) were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was interesting and a little bit different. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to recommend it.
