We were allowed to check in at midday, despite my saying on the phone that we would get there at 5pm. Given very helpful advice re park and ride and places to go in the city.

It would benefit guests when booking to check our location first, and not go by price, yes there are quiet rooms available here but they were not requested, nearer the city centre the noise level could get higher, especially if your not use to it, plus the rates get higher too.

We needed a hotel for the night as we were attending two training days for our company. Our room (9) was facing the main road, however was pretty much inaudible. Extremely clean and owner went out of his way to fix the shower within 10 minutes of our arrival once he noticed it had broken (we didn't even notice until he pointed it out). Breakfast was amazing, so much choice with no expense visibly spared i.e. Activia yoghurt, Tropicana orange juice and free range eggs. Read less

The room and staff were absolutely amazing, particularly Paul who ensured our trip out for dinner was safe and directed us to a pathway that he knew would be lit up at night.
Dislikes:
The ONLY thing I would say (and it's just me being picky) was that with the full breakfast didn't have beans. But, it was technically a free breakfast, so definitely can't complain!

The welcome was as warm as before. Very helpful staff, eager to please, making suggestions for places to visit and/or eat.
Dislikes:
Traffic noise seemed more or a problem than before; next time we'll bring ear plugs!
