Stayed just the one evening on the weekend. Just a short drive from the coast, 2 mins (10-15 mins walk). Turned up and found out the rooms were actually separate from the pub out the back. There was plenty of off road parking but was difficult to find before asking within the pub. The room was incredible, very spacious, clean with plenty of storage space for two to three adults. The bathroom had a fantastic shower and was very well maintained. Breakfast was a little cheap but good enough:) Read less

Our room in the courtyard was beautiful, and the huge breakfast was great, including freshly fried mushrooms (not the normal tinned ones you usually get). No road noise or any noise from the pub itself. Has a great private car park well off the road. We did not arrive until late in the evening and left early in the morning to catch the ferry. This is a great place and we will stay again. Read less

The courtyard accommodation looks quite new, so everything is fresh and modern. The car park at the back of the pub is really quite private and well off the main street. The breakfast was great.
Dislikes:
No not really apart from not doing pub meals, but as the landlady does not mind you fetching your own takeaways in, this is not really a problem.

Dislikes:
The court yard rooms is exposed to late night noise from customers.There is now some off street parking for residents.

Dislikes:
Unsure about the 2 dogs. They had freedom to wander about the pub. With no prior knowledge of them it was a strange experience for me. The talking in yard seemed too close, although soon phased it out

this place was idealy situated with in walking distance of the beach front and the town itself. As i said before it is very friendly and also there is a wide choice for breakfast and is recommended.

The room accommodated us all which is rare and was clean and provided basic facilities (clean linen, minimal toiletries).
Dislikes:
An expensive rate I am surprised that breakfast was not included.

So sorry you feel £130 is a lot of money for 5 people but this is lower than the rate of most people.Breakfast is very reasonably priced at £4.95 full english with tea/coffee as much as you like! The room is not cluttered with non essentials as this is easier for children and we do offer dvd hire from our film spotting shop to entertain them.We try to make this family friendly but it is hard to please everyone we thank you for your opinion it will be noted.
