Landlady turned a disaster into a fun weekend by finding alternate show from the one that was cancelled.
Lovely location next to river with wonderful wildlife walking around the garden.
Dislikes:
The reason we were in area was cancelled with only a few hours notice. (Chatsworth House Horse Trials) Will not be going to this event again!(But will be staying at this B&B again!!

Likes:
Loved the position overlooking the river. Jean was a very friendly, helpful landlady, and cooked a super breakfast.
Dislikes:
It should be pointed out that the way a satnav will take you, leads you through a small trading estate. Not a problem as it then leads you out the other side but very confusing.
Bed too soft for me.

Our hostess provided a wide range of cereals, fruit, juice and toast as well as a choice of cooked breakfast. It made a good start to the day for us.
Dislikes:
Every was good except wifi would not work for me in the room so I stepped outside into the passage to get reception. It was not a real problem though as we were only checking e-mails.

We were very much impressed with the friendliness of the landlady, the location of the place and the breakfast! The room was comfortable and clean. Awesome shower!

Very friendly welcome from the owner. Breakfasts & packed lunches were of good standard. Beds were comfortable.
The walk-in shower was very enjoyable after being out on the fells all day.
Dislikes:
I found the twin room a bit on the cramped side. There wasn't much room. Nowhere to hang up wet walking clothes.

The location is ideal to explore Bakewell and the surrounding areas.
The owner is a really good B&B host and made us feel very welcome, made a nice breakfast and gave good advice on places to walk.
