The room is large, warm, and the bed was very good. The breakfast choices were all excellent.
Dislikes:
Unfortunately, the shower room was the only cold part.

Jean was very friendly and made suggestions about things to do in the area. We were only a 5 minute walk away from the town and there were plenty of places to eat and drink.

Thank-you Hazel for your review & glad you enjoyed your stay in Bakewell. It does state on web page & literature that the room you stayed in has bath only, the other 2 rooms do have showers. We are constantly updating & decorating but as you can appreciate we have a budget & can not do the full house every year.

The room was very clean, quiet and a good size. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was happy to cater around what we liked. The B&B was also located only 5 minutes walk from the town center
Dislikes:
We were not made aware that we had to pay cash and were unprepared to do so at checkout time. It was a minor inconvenience but it would not dissuade me from staying there again.
