There are plenty of nice places to walk all starting from the River Walk, or just have a stroll into town and visit the busy market on Mondays. You can even relax on a nice day in our garden

Coming into Bakewell on the A619 take the first right after Newholme Hospital onto Holme Lane carry on to private road pass a row of cottages called Lumford, River Walk b&b is just after cottages look for sign on front of house. Coming into Bakewell on A6 head for A619 out of the town centre take the first left onto Holme Lane then follow above instructions. Walking from Bakewell town centre follow A6 Buxton Road after fire station turn right over packhorse bridge River Walk left after CottagesA619 or A6

to get to river walk by car come in on A619 road turn on Holme Lane then straight onto private road pass a row of cottages called Lumford we are the only house with area for parking at the bottom B&B sign on front of house. To walk to us walk out of town on A6 Buxton road turn right after fire station cross over packhorse bridge and pass the cottages as above.
