Dislikes:
Being on the top floor although lovely views across garden and river it was hard to climb to our room due to my husbands disability

Location was beautiful and also local to Matlock town centre, lots of nice walks and within walking distance of lots of pubs!!

Likes:
Our room on the top floor overlooked the river and the large garden at the rear, which meant we had a lovely view. Jennie and Graham were very attentive without being intrusive.
Dislikes:
The English weather (it rained all weekend). Can't blame the Guest House for that though.

It is lovely that you enjoyed the homely and friendly atmosphere in our guest house and did have a pleasant Saturday night. Our menu for cooked breakfasts consists of six different options with the flexibility of tayloring an order to suit the guest. A handy base to stay,with organised staff,and friendly hosts.
Dislikes:
At peak weekend times,it can be very noisy at closing times,with clubs pubs and licensed bars close by.
