The room was fine, nicely decorated and furnished to the character of the house. The bathroom was clean with a good shower, which is always welcome after a busy day of outdoor activities!

We were able to completely relax without any worries about anything to do with the accommodation. Staff remembered what we were doing and were keen to ensure that we met up with other wedding guests.
Dislikes:
Too short - having discovered this gem of a place!

Dislikes:
Being on the top floor although lovely views across garden and river it was hard to climb to our room due to my husbands disability

Location was beautiful and also local to Matlock town centre, lots of nice walks and within walking distance of lots of pubs!!

Likes:
Our room on the top floor overlooked the river and the large garden at the rear, which meant we had a lovely view. Jennie and Graham were very attentive without being intrusive.
Dislikes:
The English weather (it rained all weekend). Can't blame the Guest House for that though.
