Very convenient location. Room all we required.
Dislikes:
Communal facilities meant a bit of a wait for shower in morning, but not hotel's fault.

However, they did not tell us in advance that they were planning a staff party. Lot's of drunk people, lots of noise and loud music until 3am. No chance to sleep at all. Definitely not a good place if you are looking for a quite room to rest before an important day. Read less

Clean, inexpensive, basic accommodation. The lodging is as it advertises itself to be. The bar staff was friendly and cooked good food. And, well, it's Cambridge.

Thank you for your review Mark, sorry you had issues with the shower. On the back of every room door is a notice for emergency contact details, which is my mobile number as we do live on site but maybe we should review this system for something more obvious. Hope you will return if ever in Cambridge again.

The room was clean, the staff were pleasant, but I wouldn't stay here for more than a couple of nights. Also it is not suitable for children

Started out a total nightmare, had been travelling since before dawn and just wanted to lie down for a bit before the party that night. When we turned up at 14.00 to check in, the doors were locked and no one answered the phone. It caused a great deal of stress, not a great start to a relaxing stay. It did improve vastly and I slept very well both night there! Read less

Hi Ingrid, So very sorry the pub was closed when you arrived, unfortunaetly it was a very stressful day as the day shift girl had a motorbike accident on the way to work, she is ok but was quite serious at the time and we thank god she is still with us. To add to the situation it was my husbands sisters wedding day so in our haste to get to the wedding we forgot to put a note on the door. Please accept our sincere apologies and be reassured these were exceptional circumstances.
