Poppy Cottage Guest House

The Sunflower Room is a lovely south facing room with 'whitewashed pine' king-size bed and matching furniture. Flat screen TV with freeview channels and DVD player (DVD library available), towels, bathrobes, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided along with biscuits and Whitakers chocolate mints. Fresh milk is available from the guests fridge in the dining room. The modern en-suite has a newly fitted corner shower, toilet and wash basin and is fitted with heated towel rail. Lovely exposed beams to the ceiling and low window with seat allowing you to sit and enjoy the views of the garden and countryside whilst watching our chickens and ducks roam freely. The bedroom has a lovely original feature fireplace. As mentioned, the cottage is almost self-contained and guests have full use of the private guest lounge and dining room and are welcome to use the facilities provided in the dining room in order to eat-in in the evening, if preferred. All rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard with fresh towels changed upon request.

The room rate of £85.00 is for a single night stay based on 2 people sharing. The room rate reduces to £80.00 per night, when staying for 2 nights and £75.00 when staying for 3+ nights. Further discounts are given during January, February and March.

The Primrose Room is a lovely 'cosy' cottage room with king-size bed and low window seat. From here you can sit and enjoy the views of the hills and countryside whilst watching our hens and ducks roam freely in the garden. With an en-suite bathroom, spacious corner bath, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. This lovely double room has a king-size wrought iron bed and wooden furniture. Flat screen TV with freeview channels and DVD player (DVD library available), towels, hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided along with biscuits and chocolate mints. Fresh milk is available from the guests fridge in the dining room. All guests have full use of the private guest lounge and dining room and are welcome to use the facilities provided in order to eat-in in the eveing, if prefered - washing up taken care of! Although our local pub do serve excellant food too! All rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard and fresh towels are changed upon request.

The room rate of £80.00 is for a single night stay based on 2 people sharing. The room rate reduces to £75.00 per night when staying for 2 nights and £70.00 when staying for 3+ nights. Further discounts are given during January, February and March

A colourful twin room with lovely, matching wooden beds and wooden bedroom furniture. The room comfortably sleeps 3 with the use of of the pull-out sofa bed which is on a raised area in the room. When not in use this is a cosy seating area where you can sit and watch tv or read quietly. Views to the front look across into Skipton and the moors beyond.
