Owners extremely responsive to helping with any problems (such as returning our passports to us that we left behind). For anyone not an experienced traveler this place is a must. For all others you will not find more helpful or accomodating hosts. Great areas around for country walks or history trips. Our highest recommendation. Read less

The hosts. They made breakfast a most pleasant experience an facilitated our requests. Just everything you want in making a vacation comfortable, rewarding, and enjoyable.

Good directions, easy to find, but lacked easily-seen sign. Warm welcome with fresh-baked scone and tea in front of a cosy fire. Clean, comfortable and cozy with all requirements.
Dislikes:
Compared with other B&Bs it was a pretty steep price a, although admittedly it was a well-appointed venue - but do the extras justify the additional 50% above UK average?

Our stay (1 night) at the Old School House was very pleasurable. The accommodation was first class and our host (John) was very obliging in all of our needs and requests. The B & B is situated approximately 3 miles outside of Berwick Town Centre with easy commuting on the A1 road. We ate a hearty breakfast (full english) after a starter of cereal and a bowl of fruit. My wife and I would fully recommend the Old School House - 10/10. Read less

Very welcoming, immaculate bedrooms with lots of extras, very pleasant lounge and conservatory with delicious home-made scones in the afternoon. Breakfast - perfect.
