The welcome was friendly and the information given throughout our stay was most helpful, particularly regarding walking in the area. The room was delightful and the food was wonderful.
Dislikes:
We have no complaints at all about our stay.

Very well appointed en-suite bathroom, but the shower was a bit of a drip!

Not many good places to dine in Lynton in the evening, but we were impressed with their menu and quality of food and service was excellent. Honesty bar just enhances the range of facilities on offer. They aim to please in every way, and did just that. Felt as though we were in a 1st class hotel. Lynton and Lynmouth are almost unspoilt with great walks very nearby. Tranquility if you need it.

We were greeted by Ian and Sarah, offered tea, and shown around. The room didn't live up to the standard I had expected - the bedroom was not large, the bathroom rather gloomy and the furniture ill-matched. The lounge and dining room were pleasant but I was not pleased to find a communal dining table. This will suit some but not us. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was very good with the exception of the sausage! We had dinner only once and this was generally good. Read less

The location is excellent. The house itself is well laid out. The terraces are being improved, as is the hillside walk and gardens behind the house.
Dislikes:
As mentioned, communal eating. I like talking to people but don't want to have to make conversation (or suffer embarrassing silence).

The owners Ian & Srah can not do enough for you. You are made to feel at home from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. The food and accomodation really are first class.

Owners very friendly. Location excellent with great coastal views. Delighted to find we had a good choice of vegetarian courses and additional dietary requirements were happily met. Food very tasty.

Thank you for your feedback which we find very helpful. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, and particularly the food, which we take pride in. This room has a brand new ensuite bathroom, the shower has a large 'rain shower' head rather than a power shower in line with our evironmental policy.
