We stayed for 3 nights in a lovely room with a beautiful view over the Dart Estuary. The home made biscuits on the hospitality tray were a nice touch and fresh milk was also provided. L'Occitane toiletries were lovely. We ate "in" on our last night and enjoyed a delicious

Everything and we felt that nothing would have been too much trouble. Nonsuch House is a beautiful property and it is very homely.

A great stay with fantastic river/sea/castle views and excellent hosts. The room was perfect and the breakfast was spot on! Kingswear is captivating with lots of walks and a great pub - the Ship Inn.

The very steep climb from the ferry to the hotel.
Dinner was only available for one of our three nights.

Criticism taken and we are sorry if this was the case but we were away for the three days you stayed and our friends (ex-hoteliers) who were looking after Nonsuch may have been over zealous! We do not usually change towels every day unless we find marks on them as it is much easier to remove these if soaked as soon as possible . We pride ourselves on being 'green' and do not change towels if they are clean - just fluff them up and put them back tidily on the warm radiator.
