The peace and quiet although the music in the hotel could be turned down a bit.
Dislikes:
The evening menu was restrictive and the food was over cooked . Shame because the ingredients were good but the vegetables and the fish were boiled to death.
Turn the music down a bit.

The candles had such a warming addition to the ambience, which was great. It really did feel like a home rather than an austere hotel

Very friendly welcome and attitude to make the visit memorable. Great food in a very nice harbour front restaurant with great views. The lounge and hotel were full of interesting objects!
Dislikes:
The bathroom was rather cramped as regards access to the wash basin.

See comment above. The whole visit was dominated by this disgusting display. We even contemplated leaving immediately, as we were thoroughly traumatised.

Dear Guest, Unfortunately the other guest who was coughing close to your table is something out of our control, it apparently only happened on that one occassion and Im sorry this upset your evening . However we are very glad that our waiter Andrew was able to accommodate you in your room as you decided against the private dining room. It is such a shame that this event tarnished your visit especially as it really had nothing to do with the hotel, food or staff but a paying guest.
