Just a comfortable, welcoming hotel and we would definitely go back - especially if you fish on the river Tay!!

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderfully relaxing break. We had previously discovered the hotel by accident earlier in the year and enjoyed it so much we promised ourselves that we would return. This wee break was our treat to ourselves. Our room was spotlessly clean with the usual hospitality tray and kettle, along with unusual extras such as a fruit bowl, a bowl of sweeties, a sewing kit, and a decanter of sherry. The hotel is beautifully situated with spectacular scenery all around. Read less

The staff were very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked with some unusual twists. Our room was very cosy and comfortable.
Dislikes:
Only the fact that we couldn't stay for longer!

Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, excellent value for money, superb food
Dislikes:
Be careful about how your SatNav takes you there. Ours took just over an hour to get there from Perth. The hotel showed us a route which took 20 minutes!

I am sorry that you felt there was insufficient staff to cater for the guests eating with us during your stay, sometimes it is very difficult to forsee required staffing levels, as we can attract guests that have not reserved to eat but take a last minute chance in having dinner with us, and we will always endeavour to accommodate them.
