We stayed just 1 night at the Masons Arms to break our journey home from London to Inverness. The room was fairly good, but perhaps not quite up to the 4 star rating. The double bed turned out to be two singles combined as a superking, which was okay, but not quite as comfortable as a true double. Read less

Excellent evening meal and very reasonable prices in the restaurant.
Large bathroom with bath.
Dislikes:
Lack of Wi-Fi, television was old CRT type, bed wasn't as comfortable as hoped for. Road noise was quite intrusive late at night and early morning.

Location, parking, pleasant atmosphere, handy for coast and road networks. Felt very secure. Nice breakfast. Good size bathroom.
Dislikes:
Annexe walls rather thin so some secondary noise.
