The house was a beautiful mid-19thC mansion, user-friendly and comfortable but with lots of character. The breakfast choice and quality was excellent and the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Arrived a few hours earlier than the check in time, hoping that would be OK - no problem, I was ushered in and served a tray of afternoon tea - superb! The quality of accommodation was way above expectations given the tariff. Well decorated, spacious and immaculately presented rooms in a restored Victorian country house. Spent two peaceful nights at Marlagh. Breakfast was excellent and served on time. I will definitely be recommending this accommodation to anybody visiting N Ireland. Read less

Marlagh Lodge was easy to find, accessible by motorway or rural routes, the hosts Robert & Rachel are cheerful and friendly offering refreshments as I entered. The bedroom I was offered was warm and spacious and offered all of the comforts needed to make myself at home, the bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee were available to make as and when.
