"Very friendly & relaxing hotel, all staff where helpful & I would recommend it to friends & family."

The location is superb with lovely views.
Dislikes:
Only a miner point but the sausages where over cooked & could not be eaten, they appeared to have been microwaved or left on heat to long, the rest of the breakfast was good.

Decor in rooms is very dated and the bed was a bit creaky.

Thanks for all your comments. It would have been of real use to us if you had mentioned the bed creaked as you were departing. We realise the morning you were leaving was busy ,but we would have tested the bed the same day you left and made arrangements to do something to the bed for the next guest.
We mention for interest if the bed creaks no one else has commented.

So if you are a single guest who is either well proportioned or likes having a bit of space, you should consider upgrading to a double room. Read less

Squeaky bed in the room I stayed in. Prefer a duvet to sheets/blankets, but that is a personal choice.

We appreciate your comments and thank you for the suggestion, but we are confused as to why you would require a 'contiinental' breakfast ,having booked into an English (Cornish )establishment when our personal web page tells you we offer a full English breakfast no where is there a mention of a 'continental' breakfast. However we provide a reasonable buffet as well + and toast and preserves, so we believe we offered you every thing you could wish for. What else was missing?
