really friendly, professional service . Nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast and room very adequate for a two night stay.
Dislikes:
We were in a floor above the balconies and the smoke and noise from the room below drifted up at about 1 am each night.
Would avoid that room in future stay

Lovely location, friendly staff. First Sunday breakfast was brisk and good. Monday breakfast was disappointing. We knocked on the kitchen and a young man with a small beard arrived. We noticed no fruit or yoghurt as they'd been the previous breakfast and the waiter forgot to bring our coffee or milk. It was so different from the previous morning. The only other problem was the shower at Room 17. So difficult to get it going, feeble water strength and impossible to enjoy. Read less

Your friendly staff were helpful in a lovely location with a great view from our rather small bedroom on the top. Thank you.

Very poor shower and a rather small room for two people. No stewed fruit or yoghurt on our second breakfast, and waiter was a little forgetful, re no milk and needed to remind him to bring coffee

We'd like to thank you for the useful feedback regarding shower in rm17. As we said on departure, shower will be replaced within a week whilst we continue with refurbishment of all bedrooms. We're extremely sorry about poor service at breakfast and will pass this on to our breakfast staff. Please accept our apologies and be assured we'll use this feedback to improve. Proximity to university and town.
Friendly.
TV/Living room.

Dislikes:
Parking was difficult.
Room very light with light curtains.
Shower very slow to ract to temperature changes.
Response from Lerryn Hotel:
We apologise about the oversight re milk at breakfast, usually provided on individual basis and on buffet table. We'll monitor very closely quality and presentation of hot chocolate - this is 1st complaint that we have received about it so are unclear about the nature of problem but will endeavour to clarify and improve. Althouth the car park is small, streets in surrounding area are unrerstricted parking. Problem may be due to Oyster Festival. Room 1 is being refurbished winter 2012.

The service could not be faulted. We had to leave before breakfast was due to be served so they started serving half an earlier for us.

I stayed at the Lerryn for 2 nights, the hotel was fabulous and the people great.Lynne and Andy make youfeel so welcome and Matt and Hannah are so friendly and totally customer focussed. The hotel was extremely clean, the housekeeping staff work so very hard to keep the standards as high as they are.This is a great hotel to base your stay in Cornwall, great facilities, super location and really nice people.
