Basically by coincidence my wife and me ended up in the East Midlands as we should see a concert in nearby Stamford. We found Kings Arms Inn via the net and we had 3 great days there. Food was excellent, rooms were very clean, service was super. This is really something special. We had two dinners there and we were not let down in terms of either quality or size of the meal. After dinner I can recommend to have a pint with "the locals" - nice people. Read less

Everything was good thank you, bed, bathroom, service. Breakfast is well cooked, but need choice. Would have preferred unsmoked bacon and Heinz baked beans (they can't be bettered I'm afraid!!) At least have the choice available for those who prefer traditional breakfast. Cooking was fab though. Tea, needed an extra spoon of tea leaves - no matter how long we left it, it didn't get flavoured or brown in colour. Read less

The atmosphere was warm and so were the staff, very accommodating and the food was sensational. The food is amazing and I loved the use and advertising of local suppliers.The Inn is full of character.
Dislikes:
The mattress was a little hard for my liking but the bed was large and plenty of pillows supplied.
