No. the only thing that would have been a bonus would hav been a family room to sit in because there were a few of us that went.

The local pub the Fox and Hounds was friendly and the food good we had 2 very enjoyable evenings Would recommend to a friend. Read less

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Claire was the perfect host and I had the most wonderful sleep. I would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends.

Wi fi is available on request in our dining room, the walls in the house are very thick and wi fi does not extend to the annexe!

Very friendly welcome, superb breakfast in a tastefully decorated room in a beautiful cottage, nice gardens, very helpful, new room and bath, great for walking from the premises, good pub nearby
Dislikes:
Although really nice and new, room was a bit small with little storage

There is a smaal wardrobe and chest of drawers in the room. Hannalore stayed for a week and admittedly more storage is necessary for a stay of this amount of time. Extra hangers and storagewill be provided in the future!

As the annexe rooms have their own 'front doors' we do offer a degree of flexibility during 10.30 and 4.30. We would however kindly inform our guests that it is necessary to gain access to service the rooms during this time and as with most bed and breakfasts we would ask our guests to vacate them during this period, many thanks.

We have just been lucky enough to have 2 nights at Hilltop House-we travelled with another couple. We could not believe how stunning the place was when we arrived. Everything was perfect-we had 2 rooms-our friends had the twin in the stable building and we had the double in the main building. Both rooms where decorated to a very high standard and the owners had thought of every little detail-from the delicious cake and tea to welcome us to the complimentary toiletries in the room. On arrival we were greeted with chocolate cake and tea and on our second day after a long walk we had been left fresh baked scones in our room.
