Sue is incredibly welcoming. As she wasn't busy the weekend we stayed she made up 2 rooms for us to choose from - both looked great. She was keen to help, lots of fun without being overbearing.

Room was lovely, comfy bed and finishing touches like the selection of drinks, fresh milk and toiletries just perfect.

Friendly service. Lovely breakfast (huge!). Nicely located for shops and restaurants. Exceptionally clean with everything you need.
Dislikes:
Tiny problem with sink which wasn't draining properly but Sue was super keen to sort it out.

It was central to where we wanted to be. Our host, Sue, was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice touches such as fresh milk, filtered water in fridge.

Took advantage of the beautiful weather to stay in Swanage for 1 night with my 78 year old mothe(have been visiting Swanage for the last 50 years). Found 'A Great Escape' by looking up the reviews of B&B's in Swanage on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. We loved the 'blue' twin room we stayed in and it's sea-side theme. Read less

Everything. From carrying our (heavy) suitcase, down to the sweeties in the room. A wonderful breakfast that set us up for the day, and just a short walk into the centre
Dislikes:
There was nothing to dilike about the hotel. Oh it had a small sink in our room! But the shower made up for it.

Very peaceful, convenient for town centre and railway, wine glasses in the room, decent sized tea mugs, large supply of milk, water for kettle, silent running fridge and a decent power shower.
