Room very small. Washbasin in bathroom was cloakroom size and therefore too small.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay overall.. Our rooms are all larger than the minimum size required by Visit Britain and the basin in the shower room is a standard wash hand basin in a bathroom vanity unit. As you saw all our rooms whilst you were here please feel free to book our larger double ensuite if you visit again.

The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was cooked perfectly and was very good.
Dislikes:
Our kettle didn't work and we notified the hosts and they said they would instantly replace it.

We were visiting Poole to meet with friends and booked the Fleetwater partly following a recommendation of people who had stayed there previously. We chose the front bedroom with twin beds. The weather was fairly dreadful and the view of the sea was quite often obscured by mist. The road outside is quite busy and we did wonder if, in good weather, opening the window would make the room quite noisy.
The welcome was fine with a very welcome pot of tea from Marion in the lounge. Read less

Dislikes:
The road outside is quite busy so backing out could be a bit of a hazard.

My other half and I stayed at the Fleeetwater Guesthouse towards the end of June '12. Even before arriving at the guesthouse, Marion was accomodating; as we spoke over the phone the week before asking whether we could check-in earlier and if there was room for parking.
We stayed for 2-nights and felt at home straight away, with a welcoming cup of tea and slice of Victoria sponge. The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and

Room was nicely presented, situated at the rear (so out of ear shot of traffic), bed was firm (which both my partner and I prefered), the hosts (Marion and Keith) were welcoming and knowledgeable
Dislikes:
The quality of the shower wasn't quit up to standard -not much pressure or water, therefore harder and longer to wash hair
