just came to this beautiful village for a bit of a change of scenery and rest after a stressful time. Completely the right place to come. The pub and village and surrounding area is beautiful and we thorough enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and even found a scrabble board for us to while away an hour whilst it was snowing outside. Highly recommended. Read less

Fantastic village and cosy rooms. Excellent food, service and beer in the pub and a nice breakfast to go with it.
Dislikes:
Wifi signal was a bit confined.

Felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice setting.
Dislikes:
The only comment would be the bathroom. We were there in a very cold spell and heated towel rail not working. Also shower fixture not working either. Not major problem for one night.

This is a popular, busy establishment (which is a great advert in itself!). The staff and regulars are extremely friendly and polite and we were not made to feel as 'outsiders'.
Dislikes:
Absolutely no negative comments and wish I could spend every week-end here!
